Clicking the Yahoo icon on the OBS home page will point your browser to a web site where you will be asked to register as a Yahoo user, then you will be allowed to sign up for the OBS mail group. There have been several comments that this process is too long and that Yahoo asks for a lot of information. Some have also complained about receiving a  lot of promotional Email from Yahoo after registering. You can avoid the promotional mail by making sure all boxes that ask about receiving "special information" or promotions are un-checked when you are going through the registration process.

If you would prefer to sign up for the OBS list without registering with Yahoo, simply send a blank Email to ok-bike-society-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. This will get you on the list and Yahoo will have no knowledge of you whatsoever :)
